[TEST] Software Development Intern
The Software Development Intern is primarily responsible for coordinating project activities, reporting on project statuses and conducting initial testing on the software systems. This is a hands-on position where the intern and other technical resources work in an agile team environment to provide the technical capabilities that support AHRI’s mission and its member organizations.
Principal Duties:
Coordinates project activities with the project stakeholders, the development team and external partners and vendors
Reports on project statuses and alerts management of potential road blocks
Works with software developers and end users to test and document new projects and project enhancements
Hands on testing of systems and processes prior to release
Communicates with project team on milestones and propose solutions to address issues encountered by the team
Completes all required project and service documentation
Skills Required:
Ability to conduct software testing
Ability to organize and coordinate projects
Can collaborate well with other team members in an agile environment
Experience using Microsoft Project is a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office products
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills that enable the individual to work in a team with diverse skills and experience in order to respond to business needs.
